Donate

Please help us to get our services up and running in 2025

Every dollar donated goes to funding the work of the Sarah Ford Foundation, and creating change in the lives of financially disadvantaged women, who are experiencing mental health issues through the power of exercise.

We currently do not have registration with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC). Therefore, we cannot offer tax deductions, when you donate. We are currently working on this application.

By donating, you are helping us to establish much needed finances, that will allow us to pay for:

– venue hire

– insurance and other administration costs

– training volunteers

This is especially hard to fund as a start up not-for-profit. So every small bit of help is appreciated.

Fundraising in 2023

Join Sarah in 2023, as she completes a series of personal physical challenges.

As the leader of this Foundation, Sarah believes that it is important to lead by example. Therefore, this year sees Sarah complete four physical challenges, that will require her to face aspects of her Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as a grueling training regime.

This year of challenges will see Sarah:

  • 25th February 2023 – COMPLETED!

Swimming 20km in the Virtual Rottnest Swim at Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre

  • 21st May 2023 – COMPLETED!

HBF Run for a Reason half Marathon (21.1km)

  • 8th October 2023

      Perth Running Festival Marathon (42.2km)

You can follow Sarah’ story by visiting the Foundation’s Instagram, which can be found @sarahfordfoundation or by checking out the Foundation’s Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/sarahfordfoundation

Donations can be made directly through GoFundMe. Any amount will be grateful received.
