Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Sarah Ford is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Sarah Ford Foundation, a registered Australian charity supporting women affected by family and domestic violence, poverty, homelessness and trauma through exercise, education and community support programs.
Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience, Sarah understands the profound impact that trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can have on a person’s life. Through her own recovery journey, she discovered the transformative power of exercise, connection and community in rebuilding confidence, resilience and hope.
This experience inspired Sarah to establish the Sarah Ford Foundation, with a mission to help other women access the same opportunities for recovery, empowerment and social connection that played such an important role in her own journey.
