Governance
The Sarah Ford Foundation is a registered Australian charity and incorporated association committed to good governance, accountability and transparency.
Our governance framework supports the responsible management of the Foundation and ensures that our activities remain aligned with our charitable purpose and the needs of the women and communities we serve.
Governance Structure
The Sarah Ford Foundation is governed by a volunteer Management Committee responsible for strategic direction, governance, compliance and oversight of the organisation.
The Foundation’s day-to-day operations are led by Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Ford.
Due to the nature of the Foundation’s work supporting women affected by family and domestic violence, committee member identities are not publicly disclosed.
Leadership
Sarah Ford is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Sarah Ford Foundation.
Due to the current size and resources of the Foundation, Sarah currently holds both the Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer roles. The Foundation intends to separate these roles as governance capacity and resources increase.
Registration
The Sarah Ford Foundation is:
• Registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC)
• Incorporated in Western Australia under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015
